One of the typical reasons why we are exhausted is because we are trying to do too much, trying to tackle everything at once.
Why?
It’s because we are so eager to get ahead, we want to make sure we are making progress. I love progress and totally believe in taking actions, but sometimes we may need to slow down in order to go fast LATER.
We must adjust to our circumstances and avoid unrealistic exception so that we don’t need to get burnout or disappointed about ourselves.
Reminder # 1:
It is always the small changes that we make consistently over a period of time that bring us the biggest change or massive result.
So stop trying to make a giant leap all the time. Sometimes it is the incremental improvements that would path the way for your long term success.
Another reason why we tend to put way too much on our plate is that we want to make sure others are happy. Ranging from pleasing others to impressing others. We need to know if we doing what we do for the right reasons.
Reminder # 2:
Other people’s opinion is just an opinion, the most important one is yours. Trust your heart.
When we are confused, it can feel overwhelming too. So how do we get really clear about our intention or our heart desire?
Reminder # 3:
Ask yourself what is the right thing for you to do right now.
When you cannot decide which action or direction to take, don’t ask yourself what is easy or what people would think is more important.
When you are running out of patience or keep asking yourself when is this going to happen or end, remember this:
Reminder # 4:
There is always a divine timing to all things.
We cannot foresee what is ahead of us or how our destiny intertwine with others. If what you want is not happening right now, it just means later is better for your and everyone else.
The last reminder is something people tend to talk about A LOT but often forget to practice when things don’t go their way. It is easy to feel this way when you are winning, but a lot harder when you are in a not so great place. However, that is why this is the most important reminder of all. It is exactly what you need to get through those times.
Reminder # 5:
Make gratitude to be your attitude.
Whenever you are feeling upset, envy, worry, sad or bitter, think about what can you be grateful for. Think about all that you have and don’t have. Simply think about what can you say THANKS to. This will warm your heart and you in a position of ultimate receivership. Gratitude is very attractive energy.
