Honor Your Creative Calling:
As a woman, mother, coach, consultant and indie author-entrepreneur, I know how its like to try to do it all. It is an art form to find a balance between work, family and personal time. Success may mean very different things to different people. But most people I know are like myself, who want to make a good living doing what I love. On top of that, we want to eat well, exercise, get on top of world affairs, be creative, look after our appearance, travel, spend time with family and friends … basically, we want to do everything but often feeling exhausted simply by looking our ever-growing to-do list.
It is easy to get frustrated or beat ourselves up for not being productive or successful enough when our mind is overwhelmed. When this daunting feeling is looming, my approach is always this: Pause. Get Centered and Go Within. Find out what really needs to be done or attend to now, and put everything else as the “Absolutely No Go” for now. Only by doing less (in this manner), we can actually achieve more and get better in what we do. It is part of a ‘Growth’ mindset, not a ‘Fixed’ mindset that focuses on pure effort. Also, when we create space in our life, we have room and energy to really go deep to hear our inner creative calling.
I started with personal or life coaching and later on evolved to create a coaching program called Soul Biz Coaching to help my clients to start or grow their purpose or passion-driven businesses. I love working with people to bring about their inner creativity and build something that I know will make a positive difference to people and to the world around us.
